Kennedy is 0-10 against the Pacers since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Kennedy Cougars will head out on the road to challenge the Grant Pacers at 7:30 p.m. Kennedy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Even though McClatchy scored an imposing 59 points on Monday, Kennedy still came out on top. Kennedy walked away with a 69-59 victory over the Lions. Given Kennedy's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 321st, while the Lions are ranked 811th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Jordan Lawrence was a one-man wrecking crew for Kennedy as he scored 25 points along with six rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lawrence has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Noah Hayes II, who scored 13 points.
Meanwhile, even though Burbank scored an imposing 56 points on Monday, Grant still came out on top. Grant took their contest against the Titans 63-56.
Kennedy's win bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Grant, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season.
Kennedy might still be hurting after the 79-57 loss they got from the Pacers when the teams last played back in January. Can Kennedy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
