Anzar has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the York Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
Last Monday, Anzar came up short against Kirby Prep and fell 45-38.
Meanwhile, York came into Monday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They breezed by Trinity Christian on the road to the tune of 66-39 on Monday. York's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Anzar has not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for York, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Anzar came up short against York in their previous meeting back in January, falling 57-44. Can Anzar avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
