Del Sol never got on the board in their matchup on Saturday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Valley on Monday. They blew past the Vikings 11-1. The Dragons haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
Tony Luna was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. That stolen base was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryan Sanchez, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2.
Cheyenne's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-0. As for Del Sol, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Cheyenne has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .597. However, it's not like Del Sol struggles in that department as they've averaged .601. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Cheyenne beat Del Sol 12-7 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Does Cheyenne have another victory up their sleeve, or will Del Sol turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
