Basketball Recap: Puckett Extends Winning Streak to Two

If West Lincoln wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Puckett, they should've done a better job of containing Kaleb Coleman. The Wolves came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bears on Tuesday, sneaking past 52-49 with plenty of help from Coleman, who posted 26 points. He has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more points the last four times he's played.

The win made it two in a row for Puckett and bumps their season record up to 7-6. As for West Lincoln, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Puckett will take on Seminary at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for West Lincoln, they will face off against Cathedral at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
