The Mansfield Tigers stacked a fifth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They never let Skyline onto the board and left with a 10-0 victory. It was an even better day for Kenzi Coffman as she scored four goals for her team.
Mansfield's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those five contests. As for Skyline, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10-1.
Mansfield will head out on the road to challenge DeSoto at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. DeSoto will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 588th, while Mansfield is ranked 44th). As for Skyline, they will be playing at home against Waxahachie at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Skyline's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for ten straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
