Despite the loss, Leflore County still got an impressive performance from Antionette Holston, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and four blocks. That was a full 46.2% of Leflore County's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
North Side's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Leflore County, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Side will square off against Riverside at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Mississippi (Riverside is ranked 178th, while North Side is ranked 195th). As for Leflore County, they will head out on the road to face off against O'Bannon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
