Towanda is 0-10 against Troy since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Towanda Black Knights will be playing at home against the Troy Trojans at 7:30 p.m. Towanda will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 613th, while Troy is ranked 61st).
Last Tuesday, Towanda lost to Athens on the road by a decisive 69-52 margin.
Meanwhile, Troy put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 66-36 win over Wellsboro. Troy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Towanda has not been sharp recently as the team's lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Troy, they pushed their record up to 18-0 with that win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Towanda might still be hurting after the 70-45 loss they got from Troy in their previous meeting back in January. Will Towanda have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
