Softball Recap: Crestview Takes a Loss

Crestview fell victim to Navarre and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Navarre Raiders, falling 8-0. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their loss to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in March of 2022.

Crestview saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Riley Copeland, who went 3-for-4 with one double. The dominant performance gave Copeland a new career-high in hits. Moriah Keith also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen bases of the season.

Crestview now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Navarre, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Crestview will head out to take on Paxton at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Navarre, they will square off against Fort Walton Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
