With that strong performance, Anderson is now averaging an impressive 15.6 points per game. Another player making a difference was Sayid Cooley, who went 6 of 12 en route to 16 points and eight rebounds.
KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Philadelphia Military Academy had to endure a 13-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on Randolph Vo-Tech with a sharp 47-22 win on Thursday. The Knights' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Philadelphia Military Academy had a senior duo take command as Daijon Crawford posted 16 points and Ryan Russell had 13 points. Crawford is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Wahhaj Cheeks, who put up six points.
KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Philadelphia Military Academy, their victory ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-5.
