The Crusaders took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 48-21 victory over the Ravens. It was another big night for Jeremiah Davis, who rushed for 145 yards and three TDs on only five carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 67 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Harrells Christian Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 341 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 169 rushing yards in seven consecutive matchups.

Harrells Christian Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of J'Kaeshi Brunson and Jesse Smith. Smith also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with eight.
Meanwhile, while it was Trinity Christian who put the first points on the board on Friday, it was Holly Springs who put up more. The Crusaders took a 12-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Hawks. The Crusaders' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Trinity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Harrells Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Harrells Christian Academy has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 270 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Trinity Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 173.1 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Harrells Christian Academy took a serious blow against Trinity Christian in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 42-6. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Harrells Christian Academy was down 42-0.
