Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Summit Storm walked away with it. They claimed a resounding 49-14 win over Lebanon at home. Winning may never get old, but Summit sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Jimmy Hughes looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 200 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes. Mac Bledsoe did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 113 receiving yards.
Summit is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Lebanon, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
Summit will take on Wilsonville at TBD on Friday. One thing working in Wilsonville's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last eight contests. Lebanon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
