The Jemison Panthers entered their tilt with the Billingsley Bears with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Jemison was the clear victor by a 58-36 margin over Billingsley. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Jemison also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2021.
Several Bears players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Landon Jones, who scored 10 points along with 8 rebounds. Jones hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Danny Boice, who scored 4 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 blocks.
Jemison now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Billingsley, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
Jemison and Chilton County will face off at 7:00 p.m. on December 4th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Billingsley, they will head out on the road to face off against Holtville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
