Meanwhile, Cocoa Beach entered their tilt with Merritt Island on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Mustangs. Four seems to be a good number for the Minutemen as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Viera's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-0-3. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six contests. As for Cocoa Beach, their win bumped their record up to 14-3-1.

Viera took their victory against Cocoa Beach in their previous matchup back in December of 2020 by a conclusive 10-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Viera since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
