Video: MaxPreps Top 10 Games of the WeekElder (Cincinnati) at La Salle (Cincinnati)
Friday, 7 p.m. Eastern time Why it's big: Friday's winner will finish the regular season as co-champion of the Greater Catholic League South with St. Xavier. It would be the second title in a row for LaSalle, but the first since 2008 for Elder.
Elder got off to a 3-0 start this season but is only 3-3 over its last six games. The Panthers' backs are now against the wall, needing a win this week to guarantee a spot in the Division I state playoffs.
La Salle (8-1) has already clinched Division II's No. 1 playoff seed when it begins defense of last year's state championship next week.
Names to watch: The top three rushers in the GCLS will play key roles in this game. La Salle senior running back
Jeremy Larkin is leading the league in rushing yards for the second-straight year. The University of Cincinnati recruit has 1,049 yards and 17 touchdowns.
Elder senior quarterback
Peyton Ramsey and senior running back
Ja'Vahri Portis each have over 700 rushing yards this year. Ramsey is also one of the top passers in Ohio with 1,994 yards and 20 touchdowns.
