Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Tanner walked away with it. They really took it to the Lions for the full four quarters, racking up a 66-34 victory at home. Tanner has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 21 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Skylar Townsend, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Darrell Howard was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Meanwhile, Whitesburg Christian Academy beat the Sentinels 54-42 on Saturday.
Tanner has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Whitesburg Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 16-11.
