Liberty Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They took a hard 38-20 fall against the Community Christian Cyclones.
Although Liberty Christian Academy took the loss, they still got scores from Eddie Deptola and Daniel Canales.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Community Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caleb Taylor, who picked up 160 receiving yards and three scores. Taylor's longest reception was for an incredible 72 yards. Jack Beamon was another key passer, throwing for 257 yards and four touchdowns on only 19 passes.
Liberty Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Community Christian, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
