Blue Valley West's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tate Nagy, who threw for 264 yards and six touchdowns while completing 72% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Sage Huffman, who gained 174 total yards and three touchdowns.
Shawnee Mission North's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Blue Valley West, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-5.
