Cheney entered their tilt with Medicine Lodge on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 7-2 win over the Indians. Surprisingly, this marked the Cardinals' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Josh Burdick made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over 3.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Kaden Ludwig was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Cameron Eastman was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Cheney lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Cheney pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Medicine Lodge, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7-1.
