With a playoff win on the line, Tri-County rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They blew past the North Newton Spartans, posting a 63-16 win. The Cavaliers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Leading Tri-County to victory were Hannah Arvin and Sara Zarse. Arvin went 8 of 11 on her way to 19 points along with six boards and six steals, while Zarse almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine assists. Arvin is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 45% in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Grace Luck, who posted six points and six steals.

The victory was the third in a row for Tri-County, bringing their record for this year to 20-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 40 points. As for North Newton, their loss dropped their record down to 8-15.

Tri-County has already played their next game, a 51-25 win against West Central on the 7th. North Newton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
