Make it eight blowout wins for the Sumner Stingrays this season. They blew past Freedom 59-34. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Sumner has posted since January 4th.
Leading Sumner to victory were Isaiah Williams and Devin Baker. Williams scored ten points along with nine rebounds, while Baker scored 13 points along with six assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jabory Nelson, who scored seven points.
Sumner's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Freedom, they now have a losing record at 10-11.
Sumner will head out on the road to take on Wharton at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Wharton will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. As for Freedom, Freedom and Jefferson will face off at 8:00 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
