In what's become a running theme this season, the Dorman Cavaliers gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 62-36 margin over Boiling Springs. The victory was nothing new for Dorman as they're now sitting on three straight.
Leading Dorman to victory were Rihanna Wallace and Jenna Cothran. Wallace scored 14 points along with eight steals and six rebounds, while Cothran scored 17 points along with four steals. Wallace continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Morgan White, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Despite the loss, Boiling Springs still got an impressive performance from Sarah Ezell, who scored 17 points along with two steals. Ezell is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played.
Boiling Springs struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Dorman's victory bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Boiling Springs, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-15.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing James F. Byrnes the next time they take the court. Boiling Springs will host James F. Byrnes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Dorman will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
