Hernando Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Jaden Montzka, who scored 22 points. Caydon Williams was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Hernando Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Bishop McLaughlin Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hernando Christian Academy will square off against Meadowbrook Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Meadowbrook Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Monday. As for Bishop McLaughlin Catholic, they will head out on the road to face off against Crystal River at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
