The Turlock Bulldogs will face off against the Pitman Pride at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Turlock's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Thursday. Everything went their way against Modesto as they made off with a 19-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won six in a row.
Cadee Campbell was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, she posted four strikeouts, the most she's had since back in March. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Abby Maxwell, who fired off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while going 2-for-4. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Karley Wool was another key player, going 2-for-4 with four runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.
Turlock always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .564. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Modesto only posted an OBP of .273.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pitman). They put the hurt on Pacheco with a sharp 24-8 win on Friday. With that victory, the Pride brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.
Shelby Woods was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with five runs, two stolen bases, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Kamryn Costa, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
The win (which was Pitman's third in a row) raised their record to 8-14. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Turlock, their win bumped their record up to 10-14.
Pitman's pitching crew better be locked in on Tuesday. Turlock hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.8 home runs per game. It's a different story for Pitman, though, as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0 home runs. Will they be able to keep Turlock in the park?
Everything went Turlock's way against Pitman in their previous meeting on April 3rd, as Turlock made off with a 16-5 victory. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Pride have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
