A Season-Best Performance from Zane Farney Leads Sterling over South Sumner [Caldwell/South Haven]
Zane Farney produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Sterling to the win on Friday. Farney rushed for 300 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 17.6 yards per carry. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 72-yard run.

With the defeat, Sedgwick broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-1. Crumrine and Sedgwick will look to defend their home field on Friday against Remington at 7:00 p.m.

Sedgwick Gets a Boost from Crumrine in 41-40 Defeat
Another Sedgwick player making an appearance on this list is Corey Crumrine. He threw for 279 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 61 yards and two touchdowns. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last five games he's played.
