Landen Williams-Callis of
Randle (Richmond, Texas) rushed for 342 yards and six touchdowns in a 49-42 win Thursday over
Iowa Colony (Texas).
Williams-Callis scored on runs of 1, 5, 3, 40, 69 and 27 yards. The last touchdown was the game-winner with just over a minute remaining in the game. See highlights in the video.
The No. 2 running back in the Class of 2027 had two fumbles in the first quarter as the Lions fell in a 21-0 hole. But Williams-Callis scored early in the second quarter on consecutive offensive snaps as Randle evened the score at half.

"I had to leave it behind, keep my chin up and keep playing," Williams-Callis told
the Houston Chronicle of the early fumbles. "It was just some adversity that God was putting me through. He just wanted me to get through it, and I got through it."
With more than 60 offers from the likes of Alabama, Georgia, Michigan and other college heavyweights, Williams-Callis poured it on the second half with 256 yards.
The 5-foot-9, 190-pound back went over the 5,000-yard mark for his career after running for 1,944 yards as a freshman and 2,108 last season when he led the Lions to a 16-0 record and state title. He has 1,205 rushing yards this season and is averaging 241 yards per game on the ground as Randle improved to 5-0 and extended its win streak to 21.
Williams-Callis has 87 rushing touchdowns for his career and 93 total.
