Italy has gone a perfect 5-0 against Covington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Italy Gladiators will be playing in front of their home fans against the Covington Owls at 7:00 p.m. Italy is looking for their season's first victory.

Italy is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 14 runs on Friday, they were much more limited against Itasca on Friday. They came up short against the Wampus Cats, falling 11-2.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Covington's offense. They fell just short of Aquilla by a score of 2-0 on Friday.

Italy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Covington, they now have a losing record of 0-1-1.

Everything went Italy's way against Covington when the teams last played back in March of 2023, as Italy made off with a 7-0 win. Does Italy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Covington turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
