Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Academy of Science and Innovation to victory, but perhaps none more so than Maiara Rodriguez, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 steals. The game was Rodriguez's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Symber Ortiz-Sutton, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Academy of Science and Innovation's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-0-1. As for Parish Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.
Academy of Science and Innovation will be playing at home against Weaver at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Parish Hill, they will head out on the road to face off against Tourtellotte at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
