Softball Recap: Dardanelle Sets Scoring Season-High Against Paris

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dardanelle). They were the clear victor by a 15-8 margin over the Paris Eagles on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Sand Lizards needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Dardanelle's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-6. As for Paris, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dardanelle will take on Waldron at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Paris will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lavaca at 4:30 p.m. on April 1st.
