Moshannon Valley's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their 23rd straight loss dating back to last season. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 63-38 walloping at the hands of Northern Cambria. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Moshannon Valley in their matchups with Northern Cambria: they've now lost three in a row.
Meanwhile, Glendale suffered a tough 73-53 loss at the hands of Juniata Valley on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Glendale can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 346th, while Juniata Valley is ranked 25th).
Moshannon Valley bumped their record down to 0-1 with that loss, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Glendale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Moshannon Valley came up short against Glendale when the teams last played back in February, falling 50-45. Can Moshannon Valley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
