Volleyball Recap: Daniel Sheqi Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Bartram Trail

Global Outreach Charter Academy's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Bartram Trail Bears as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in March.

While Global Outreach Charter Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-23, 25-15.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Global Outreach Charter Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Daniel Sheqi, who had 32 assists and six kills. Those six kills gave Sheqi a new career-high. Eduardo Partida was another key player, getting 11 kills, three aces, and two blocks.

Global Outreach Charter Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bartram Trail only served eight aces.

Global Outreach Charter Academy's record is now 12-5. As for Bartram Trail, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

Global Outreach Charter Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Nease on the 21st. As for Bartram Trail, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against St. Augustine on the 22nd.
