The CSTHEA Patriots Patriot can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They breezed by Lookout Valley at home to the tune of 63-19. The victory was just what CSTHEA Patriots needed coming off of a 69-23 defeat in their prior game.
It was another big night for Jonathan Swanson, who scored 28 points along with 3 steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ivan Huffman, who scored 13 points along with 7 rebounds.
The victory got CSTHEA Patriots back to even at 4-4. As for Lookout Valley, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. CSTHEA Patriots will challenge Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lookout Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Chattanooga Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
