The Huntingdon Bearcats will look to defend their home field  on Thursday against the West Branch Warriors at 4:30  p.m.
 After soaring to 11  runs the game before, Huntingdon was a bit more limited  in their  match  on Wednesday. They fell victim to a  tough 10-1 defeat at the hands of Bald Eagle Area. Huntingdon has struggled against Bald Eagle Area recently, as their  contest on Wednesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
 Huntingdon saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Ashton Steele, who  went 1-for-3 with  an  RBI.
 Meanwhile, West Branch entered their tilt with Williamsburg with two consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Blue Pirates onto the board and left with  a   12-0  win  on Tuesday. Fans of West Branch have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout.
  Luke Liptak made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out eight over 4.1 innings pitched. Liptak was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-2 with a  double.
 In other batting news,  Coby Kephart and  Isaac Tiracorda did most of the damage at the plate:  Kephart  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4, while  Tiracorda  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4.
 Having lost for the first time this season, Huntingdon  fell to 2-1. As for West Branch, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with that  victory, which was their fifth straight  at home dating back to last season.

However, it's not like West Branch struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  only 2.3.
