Jacksonville Christian Academy won the last time they faced Trinity Christian, and Violette Smith did her part to make sure it happened again. The Conquerors were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers on Tuesday thanks in part to Smith, who had 26 digs and six assists. She has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Jacksonville Christian Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-18, 25-17.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-2. As for Trinity Christian, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Jacksonville Christian Academy has already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Southwest Onslow on the 28th. As for Trinity Christian, they will venture away from home to square off against New Bern Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
