Even though the North Dallas Bulldogs scored an imposing 62 points on Thursday, the Creekview Mustangs still came out on top. Creekview escaped with a win against North Dallas by the margin of a single free throw, 63-62. That's another feather in the cap for Creekview, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jeremiah Johnson, who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Andru Crayton, who scored 11 points.
Creekview is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for North Dallas, they bumped their record down to 5-5 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Creekview will square off against Irving at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Irving is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. North Dallas won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Ranchview at 6:30 p.m. on December 1st.
