Chavez is 8-2 against Delano since February of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Chavez Titans will head out on the road to square off against the Delano Tigers at 4:00 p.m. One thing working in Chavez's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last nine games.
Chavez pushed their score all the way to 60 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to McFarland 65-60. Chavez has struggled against McFarland recently, as their contest on Wednesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Delano strolled past Kennedy with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 59-40. The win made it back-to-back wins for Delano.

Chavez didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Delano when the teams last played on January 8th, but they still walked away with a 60-55 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chavez since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
