On Saturday, La Vega earned a 60-47 win over Brentwood School. The win made it back-to-back wins for La Vega.
La Vega was led to victory by Mar?Cyah Willis and Angela Carroll. Willis scored 18 points, while Carroll dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Alaysia Gude, who scored eight points.
Brentwood School's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Lev Feiman, who scored 14 points, and Aariah Roa who scored 12 points. The match was Feiman's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Logan Scott, who scored no points along with eight rebounds.
La Vega has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. As for Brentwood School, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.
La Vega and Hebron will face off at 4:30 p.m. on December 30, 2023 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
