2B Central recap October 8, 2013
Fans got a thrill when Rylon Kolb and Kalen Dunlap connected against Napavine. The connection was good for 74 yards, the longest such play in 2B Central this season.
Toutle Lake was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from sixth to fourth in the league. Earlier in the week, the Ducks defeated Winlock 44-0.
Morton/White Pass's Kolb and Dunlap led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-11 quarterback Kolb has thrown for 640 yards this season, while Dunlap has 10 catches for 257 yards. Kyler Hazen from Mossyrock leads the league in rushing with 578 yards.
An important game coming up in 2B Central this week will be when Wahkiakum takes on the Tigers. At the moment, the Mules are in first, while Napavine is in third.
Pe Ell moved up to 214 from 252 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Trojans climbed the ranks as a result of besting Willapa Valley 26-7.
