  Rylie Dobnak made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (and not a single walk). Dobnak was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-2.
 In other batting news,  Aubrey Jaskulski was  incredible,  going 2-for-2 with a  home run, three  runs,  and four  RBI.  Lia Salopek was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-1.
 Meanwhile, McKeesport was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They wound up on the wrong side of a  rough 13-0 walloping at the hands of Indiana. The  matchup marked the first time this year in which McKeesport was not able to get on the board.
 West Mifflin now  has a winning record of 7-6. As for McKeesport, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
 West Mifflin was able to grind out a solid  win over McKeesport in their previous meeting  last Tuesday, winning  4-1. Will West Mifflin repeat their success,  or does  McKeesport have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
