When it comes to explaining why Liberty-Benton lost on Tuesday, one person who can't be blamed is Lauren Gerken. Despite the final result, she scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and four blocks. The game was Gerken's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lindsay May, who scored six points along with four steals.
Liberty-Benton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Ottawa-Glandorf, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty-Benton will take on Arlington at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ottawa-Glandorf, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Wapakoneta at 7:30 p.m. Wapakoneta has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
