Noah Prodan Tops All Others This Week
Starting off the list is Seymour's Noah Prodan, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Prodan's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 109 rushing yards. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making five total tackles and defending a pass.
Seymour's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-4. Prodan and Seymour will venture away from home to take on Naugatuck at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Leif Johnson was a major factor in Gilbert/Northwestern/Housatonic's victory over Wolcott on Thursday. Johnson did his part (and then some), rushing for 155 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries for the 'W'. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.
The win made it two in a row for Gilbert/Northwestern/Housatonic and bumps their season record up to 2-6. Their road trip will continue as they head out to face Holy Cross at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Brandon Andoh Delivers Electric Effort Vs Crosby
Brandon Andoh put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September on Saturday. He rushed for 156 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 82 yards.
On the year, Andoh has run in 11 touchdowns while averaging 94.6 rushing yards per game.

Jack Brunetti Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Jack Brunetti posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He threw for 230 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 32 yards and a touchdown. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last four games he's played.
Brunetti and Woodland Regional will face off against Derby at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Brunetti will face off against Jayzair Barbera, the Red Raiders' star signal caller. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Jake George Turns in Season-Best Performance
Seymour was led to victory by Jake George, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. George picked up 103 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The performance also marked the most rushing yards (13) he has had since back in September of 2023. He is becoming a predictor of Seymour's success: when he posts at least 80 receiving yards the team is 3-1 (and 1-3 when he doesn't).
For the season, George has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 50.8 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 26.38 receiving yards per game.
