Meanwhile, Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences made easy work of Notre Dame on Monday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Fighting Irish: they've now won three in a row.
One reason for the win was Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences' just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18, 25-15.
Copper Basin better focus on containing Savannah Moore and Brynne Burkhart as the pair were huge in Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences' win. Moore had 20 kills, six digs, and five aces, while Burkhart had five digs, five aces, and one block. Moore is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last 20 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Amanda Gardner, who had 13 digs and seven kills.
Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last six contests.
