The Stuart Broncos will look to defend their home court on Friday against the North Central Knights at 7:45 p.m. North Central took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Stuart, who comes in off a win.
Stuart put the finishing touches on their tenth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They blew past Osmond/Randolph 51-30. The win was a breath of fresh air for Stuart as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Stuart got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Gavynn Mustin out in front who almost dropped a triple-double on 21 points, 15 rebounds, and nine steals. Mustin hasn't dropped below two steals for 12 straight games. Kayde Ramm was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with five steals.
Meanwhile, North Central took a serious blow against Ainsworth on Monday, falling 69-41. North Central has not had much luck with Ainsworth recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Stuart's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for North Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11.
Stuart came up short against North Central when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 59-53. Thankfully for Stuart, Raden Orton (who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
