Cyprus has gone 8-2 against Taylorsville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Pirates will host the Warriors at 3:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Cyprus is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Granger on Tuesday as they made off with a 19-3 victory. Considering the Pirates have won eight matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Adelaide ( Addie ) Winn, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Calee Sharp was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two triples and three runs.
Cyprus always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .606. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Taylorsville sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over Hunter on Tuesday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Wolverines recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Aleya Wegner spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on six hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Megan Sterzer was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs. Another player making a difference was Tianna Hansen, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
Taylorsville's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Cyprus, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-8 record.
Cyprus beat Taylorsville 8-4 in their previous matchup back in March. Do the Pirates have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
