Despite the loss, Cloverdale still got an impressive performance from Noah Betz, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The game was Betz's fourth in a row with at least ten points.
Indian Creek's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Landon Martin, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. Those ten rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Sichting, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds.
Cloverdale's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Indian Creek, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cloverdale will take on South Putnam at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. South Putnam comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Indian Creek will be home for the holidays to greet Edgewood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Mialin White and Adam Crouch.
