The Dekaney Wildcats will face off against the Benjamin Davis Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Benjamin Davis took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Dekaney, who comes in off a win.
Dekaney took a seven-run loss the last time they faced off against Westfield, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wildcats won by a run and slipped past the Mustangs 8-7. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Saul Diaz made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Abraham Medina, who went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February. Damien Torres was another key player, going 2-for-5 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Meanwhile, Benjamin Davis came up short against Spring on Wednesday and fell 10-7. The Falcons have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Jesus Sanchez made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Darwin Virtudazo, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.
Dekaney's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 8-10-2. As for Benjamin Davis, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.
