Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Trenton Tigers walked away with it. They snuck past the Eagles with a 53-48 win on Tuesday. The win was just what Trenton needed coming off of a 80-58 defeat in their prior match.
Trenton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kendal Henry led the charge by scoring 12 points along with three steals. Nathan Ridgell was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Trenton's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Bronson, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-18.
Trenton will face off against Chiefland at TBD on Thursday. Hopefully Trenton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday. Bronson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
