Even though the Constitution Generals scored an imposing 72 points on Thursday, the Abraham Lincoln Railsplitters still came out on top. Abraham Lincoln took their   contest against Constitution   83-72. The  victory was all the more spectacular given Abraham Lincoln's disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings  (they are ranked 232nd, while Constitution is ranked 42nd).
  Malachi Montgomery continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines,  scoring 35 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Samair Peterson, who  scored 17 points.
 Constitution's  loss shouldn't obscure the performances of  Perry Fields, who  scored 26 points along with seven  blocks and four  steals, and  Kyree Latimer who  scored 29 points along with eight  rebounds. That was a full 40.3% of Constitution's points, marking the third time in a row he's  earned more than a third of the team's points.  Amir Speights was another key contributor,  scoring eight points along with three  blocks and two  steals.
 The  win  makes it two in a row for Abraham Lincoln and  bumps their season record up to 6-10. As for Constitution, their defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 13-5.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Abraham Lincoln will take on John Bartram at 3:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Constitution, they will look to defend their home court  on Saturday against Methacton at 2:35  p.m. Methacton will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
