The Trinity Christian Warriors waltzed into Tuesday's game with two straight wins but they left with three. They breezed by Orme at home to the tune of 69-38. Fans of Trinity Christian have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Despite the loss, Orme saw an underclassman step up: Jack Welty scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Welty scored a full 26.3% of Orme's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Owen Rudolph was another key contributor, scoring 6 points along with 7 rebounds.
Trinity Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Orme, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Tri City Prep the next time they take the court. Trinity Christian will head out to face Tri City Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Orme will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
