The Malcolm Clippers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 22 points or more this season. They ended the year with a bang, routing Centennial 59-37. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Malcolm.
Malcolm found their leader in underclassman Halle Dolliver, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Dolliver has scored at least 25% of Malcolm's points. Another player making a difference was Mckenna Powell, who scored ten points.
Malcolm's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-3. As for Centennial, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Malcolm won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Oakland-Craig at 6:00 p.m. on December 30th. Oakland-Craig will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. As for Centennial, they will head out on the road to face off against Sutton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
