Meanwhile, Clarksville Christian scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 81-23 win over South Haven Christian. Clarksville Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 35 points or more this season.
Clarksville Christian relied on the efforts of Nevaeh Brooks, who scored 18 points along with seven assists and five steals, and Lauren Hassell, who scored 21 points along with eight rebounds and eight steals. Hassell hasn't dropped below 18 points for four straight games. Alessia Nesbitt was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with three steals.
Christian Community is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season. As for Clarksville Christian, their win bumped their record up to 16-9.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Christian Community have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 24.5 rebounds per game.
